Advanced Material Analytics for Industry

ANAXAM was established as part of the Advanced Manufacturing - Technology Transfer Center (AM-TTC) alliance. The center provides access to advanced analytical methods using neutrons and synchrotron radiation (X-rays) that are usually only accessible for basic research. This way, industry partners can profit from material analytics way beyond the laboratory scale. The offered analytical tools include:

• non-destrcutive inspection (imaging)
• structural analysis (based on diffraction and scattering)
• chemical analysis (spectroscopy)

With the help of ANAXAM's holistic analytical service, the manufacturing industry can benfit from the large-scale facilities operated by the PSI. The service comprises:

• competent consulting
• tailor-made infrastructure for samples
• applied material analytics
• data analysis and interpretation
