Period 2021-2024 (Continuation Program)
Call for Project Proposals (closed)
In its March meeting 2020, the ETH Board approved the continuation program of the SFA Advanced Manufacturing in the next four-year planning period. In its concept paper of this continuation program, the Steering Committee defined four Technical Focus Areas for 2021 to 2024. These four TFAs provide continuity of the current program, but broaden at the same time the scope, as they include all advanced manufacturing technologies as well as all applications targeted with these manufacturing technologies.
The call for project proposals was officially issued on 15 June 2020. Principal Investigators (PIs) from the four participating ETH institutions were invited to submit pre-proposals for projects addressing a key challenge in at least one of the four Technical Focus Areas 2021-2024 until 28 August 2020.
In total, 33 consortia and more than 120 Principal Investigators (PIs) from the institutions of the ETH Domain have submitted a pre-proposal. The Steering Committee will evaluate the proposals and project ideas according to the defined project selection criteria and invite the consortia of the best pre-proposals to prepare full proposals.
Below, you will find the schedule of the call with all important activities and deadlines. For more information, please see the Call for Project Proposal document. If you have questions that are not answered in the call document, do not hesitate the Program Manager of the SFA Advanced Manufacturing.
