Initial Program

Call for Project Proposals (closed)

In the Initial Program, the call for project proposals was officially issued on 26 September 2016. Principal Investigators (PIs) from the four participating ETH institutions were invited to submit their proposals for projects in the three different Technical Focus Areas of the Initial Program.
 
18 pre-proposals have been submitted by 7 November 2016 and the Steering Committee selected the most convincing and promising projects in its meeting on 2 December 2016. The PIs and consortia of the ten selected projects were invited to prepare full proposals according to the Guidelines for the Preparation of Full Proposals and submit the requested documents by 30 January 2017. 

In the second step, the ten full proposals were evaluated by the Steering Committee as well as by international reviewers. In its meeting on 8 March 2017, the Steering Committee selected the seven most promising projects and agreed on the funding of the involved partners.
