Projects of the Expansion Program, 2017-2020
Mid 2017, the ETH Board approved an expansion of the program of the SFA Advanced Manufacturing. Two additional and complementary Technical Focus Areas (TFA) were defined: TFA 4 - Sensing Technologies and TFA 5 - Intelligent Systems and Advanced Automation. End of 2017, the Steering Committee selected four further research projects that address key challenges in these two new areas. The research activities in these four projects started in spring 2018.
